No Misery Can Tell, No Word of Farewell at Wassaic Project (2022)
Plan P: The Pandemic Panorama, 2021
𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒐 4-17: The past two years were filled with uncertainties for everyone in the world and in this case, especially for art students who finally got a chance to getting their own private studio spaces in the heart of the contemporary art scene of New York City. These artists got a chance to turn their studio spaces into their very own mini solo shows but the uncertainties consisted of either finally welcoming an audience to see their hard work come to life or have people see their pieces behind a screen with no sense of scale and colors that would not do justice to the way they looked in real life. We found out just a week before that the 2021 Open Studios at SVA was going to be open to the public and we were all thrilled and so my fellow peers and I reached out to people on our own and made the three days we got to invite people to our spaces, very well worth it.
My very talented friend and photographer, 𝑨𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑩𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒂, put together this short video which highlights some of those moments where people took the time out of their lives to show support to the students of SVA along with detailed shots of the pieces I showed at this event.
