This print was produced as part of Wassaic Project's Editions Program, which invites artists to produce high-quality screenprints alongside their Print Fellow. The repeating Urdu text in the background of the piece translates to “Oh! If only we could be freed from the oppression of the mind".
(The print is also closely related to my piece titled Wrapped Around My Finger which was party of an installation at the winter show at Wassaic Project in December 2022.
